After two editions following the Randonnée format, "La Fabio Casartelli" returns to its old style, as requested by dedicated cyclists, featuring timed sections on the climbs of the Ghisallo and the Muro di Sormano.
Starting from Albese "à la française" to avoid traffic issues, the SHORT route – also open to e-bikes – includes the ONNO CLIMB and returns to Albese after 58 km. The other two routes, MEDIUM (75 km) and LONG (107 km), will reach Bellagio and ascend the GHISALLO CLIMB, timed, with individual rankings and awards. After the Ghisallo climb, there will be a refreshment stop for everyone with the opportunity to visit the CYCLING MUSEUM of Ghisallo at a reduced price.

In the MEDIUM route, cyclists will ride back to Albese from the top of Ghisallo, while in the LONG route, those with enough energy can turn right at Asso, face the SORMANO PASS CLIMB, and challenge the legendary MURO DI SORMANO, timed, with individual times published alphabetically. At the top of the Sormano Pass, another refreshment stop is scheduled before descending towards Lake Como in Nesso, cycling along the lake shore to Como, tackling the CAMNAGO VOLTA CLIMB, and finally returning to Albese.

For the Teams, there will be a team classification based on the kilometers covered by the athletes, and to give even NON-CLIMBERS the chance to receive recognition, there will be RANDOM PRIZES for participants present at the draw, which will take place during the awards ceremony at the end of the race.

"La Fabio Casartelli" aims to be A CELEBRATION FOR FABIO with timing only on the indicated climb sections. The rest of the route is considered as "transit," where cyclists are "free to move," and therefore strictly subject to the rules of the road.
